Columbus McKinnon (Loadstar)
Background
Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) is a leading designer and manufacturer of material handling products and services with its Loadstar brand being a market leader in Entertainment Technology. The Loadstar products were to be showcased at the Prolight and Sound Exhibition in Frankfurt. Our company has designed and built stands for Columbus since 2015 and we were commissioned to design and build an exhibition stand for Columbus McKinnon (Loadstar) at the Prolight and Sound Exhibition in Frankfurt.
Our Approach
Our design concept aimed to create a modern, clean and professional exhibition stand to showcase the Loadstar products under the CM Entertainment Technology brand. The stand was designed to be functional, visually appealing, and to provide a comfortable space for attendees to learn about the products and network with CMCO representatives.
The exhibition stand had a total area of 50 square meters and was located in a high-traffic area of the exhibition hall. The stand was designed with an open plan layout to allow visitors to easily walk through the stand and view the Loadstar products. A custom build frame was created to suspend the Loadstar products from the ceiling to showcase their capabilities and to demonstrate their lifting capacities.
The stand featured a seating area with comfortable seating arrangements for attendees to take a break and network with CMCO representatives. A bar area was also incorporated into the design to provide refreshments for attendees and to create an inviting atmosphere.
Lighting was a crucial aspect of the design to ensure that the Loadstar products were well-lit and visible to visitors. Strip lighting was used around the perimeter of the stand to provide subtle illumination and to highlight the products on display.
Construction
The exhibition stand was constructed in-house by our team of experienced designers and builders. The custom build frame was created from high-quality materials to ensure the safety of the Loadstar products and to provide a visually striking feature. The seating and bar area were also custom-built to ensure the comfort of visitors and to match the overall design aesthetic of the stand.
Results
The exhibition stand for Columbus McKinnon (Loadstar) at the Prolight and Sound Exhibition in Frankfurt was a huge success. The stand was well-received by attendees and provided a comfortable and engaging space for visitors to learn about the Loadstar products. The custom build frame, seating and bar area, and strip lighting around the perimeter of the stand all contributed to a visually appealing and functional design.
