Whilst March 16th, 2020 will be a date that is forever etched in our memory, it now seems a distant memory as the roadmap to recovery becomes real and we finally start to see the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted.
Like many other businesses that work in live events and retail environments, we (Marsden Direct Group) have had to adapt our business model to be sustainable and survive – and we are both thankful to our team and our clients for their continued support. With that being said, it has been a challenging time. Like so many other companies, we have had to go through some redundancies and seek support from the government. Nonetheless, the recent Government roadmap announcement and the first stage of restrictions being lifted means there is light at the end of a very long tunnel.
Is this the start of us getting back to doing what we love and are passionate about? We have no doubt the exhibition industry will explode and will be back working hard; to achieve that, we will do this for our team and our clients; it is right to act now!
